About Vocal Botany
While we still know many of our first customers by name, there are now stores carrying our products across North America and in a handful of countries in Europe. That success isn’t just ours, it’s yours as well. The direct messages encouraging us along the way, the supportive comments on social media, double takes at farmer’s markets that gave us the chance to make the case for why we make what we do the way we do. It all helped. It gave us the fuel to continue. We worked thousands of hours over the years, often for little or no pay. We developed calluses and aches, lost sleep, and battled all the doubts that come from doing something new on your own, but we consider the struggle a privilege. We live in a place and time where one is free to try and fail and try again.
We started with good instincts, ethics, and intentions. The ten (plus!) years of valuable hard-earned experience we can apply with proficiency now is not something we acquired alone; you were there too. If you were one of our first customers, if you own a store that picked us, if you posted online and it led to a single soap bar being sold. Even if this is the first time you have visited our site, that patronage proves all the effort up to this point was worth it; you were there.
